QuickReview —
Consent & Opt-In Process

How Walsh Marketing's QuickReview tool collects customer consent before any SMS message is sent.

How Consent Is Collected

QuickReview is a review-request tool provided by Walsh Marketing to landscaping businesses. Messages are only ever sent to customers who have given verbal consent, collected in person at the time of job completion.

No SMS is sent speculatively, in bulk, or to any person who has not individually and verbally agreed to receive one.

The Process

  1. 1
The landscaper completes a job for their customer.
  2. 2
At job completion, the landscaper asks the customer in person: "Mind if I text you a link to leave us a quick Google review?"
  3. 3
Only if the customer verbally agrees does the landscaper open QuickReview, enter the customer's phone number, and send a single SMS containing their Google review link.
  4. 4
Every message includes STOP opt-out language. Replying STOP immediately prevents any further messages from being sent to that number.

Message Policy

  • One message per customer, maximum
  • No recurring messaging
  • No marketing or promotional content
  • Messages are sent only after explicit verbal consent at job completion
  • Phone numbers are never stored, shared, or used for any purpose beyond delivering the single agreed review request

Sample Message

The following is a representative example of the SMS sent via QuickReview:

"Hi [Name]! It was great working with you. Would you mind leaving [Business] a quick Google review? It really helps us out: [link] Thanks! Reply STOP to opt out."
